What is it?
The Online Survey Engine is a web-enabled wizard
allowing for Online Survey creation, administration
and reporting. It is a user-friendly tool accessible
to all University of Waikato Staff and Students
to create their own surveys on topics of their
choice.
The surveys created are automatically published
on the web with a unique URL in the time period
specified by the 'administrator' of that survey.
The survey engine allows the flexibility to create
and define custom questions and responses. The
survey administrator also has the option of creating
a 'secured' survey accessible only to University
of Waikato Staff and students, or an 'unsecured'
survey, accessible to all.
All reporting is done by the Survey Engine, so
once a survey is live, an administrator can begin
reviewing detailed reports on responses as and
when they occur. The results can be viewed in
the form of bar-graph reports or raw data.
