The School of Science and Engineering values the input of Māori students and encourages them to reach the highest levels in Science. To help support Māori students, the Te Pūtahi o Te Manawa programme was set up. This service
is free for students to use, just register using the online form.
Mentor coordinator – Wiki Papa (Bsc, DipT Waikato)
Kia ora, My position as a role model is to guide and support all Māori and Pacific Island students in their journey within Science and Engineering. The mentor coordinator will provide academic, pastoral and procedural care to Māori and Pacific Island students and manage overall communication with all Māori students, mentors and staff.
