  • TDU resource librarian.
  • Editor of TDU magazine.
  • Learning development work with students.

Research Interests:

  • Research on tertiary teaching to enhance the pedagogical development of academic staff.
  • Collaborative learning.
  • Developing student learning approaches within the curriculum.
  • Teaching in the context of cultural diversity.

  • Research assessment and equity (was a member of PBRF Sector Reference Group)
  • Alternative approaches to research presentation, including cross-cultural options
  • Wide range of research on school-based Ministry of Education initiatives, including Pasifika and Māori initiatives; induction of PRTs; professional development for principals and aspiring principals.

  • Administrative support: assist with the planning for, and actual organisation of, events such as academic orientation, seminars, workshops and conferences
  • Production: assist with the production of resources for staff, including TDU eBulletin and TDU WWW-based resources
