Careers and the BSocSc

BA | BEP | BMCT | BMus | BSocSc | BSW | BTour

In this information era, employers are looking for graduates that have the essential research, analysis and literacy skills which are central to most careers in the public and private sector. Our Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSocSc) graduates develop those skills over the duration of their degree, along with their initiative, motivation and flexibility to adapt to a new work environment - again, attributes sought by employers.

On completion of a BSocSc you will have understanding of people and of the conditions, circumstances, structures and dynamics affecting social interaction, skills in cross cultural communication, an ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and individuals, and an understanding of how to contribute effectively to collective projects. Add to this your transferrable skills and you will be in a strong position to take advantage of future job opportunities as they arise.
