
New Zealand is trading on its 100% pure image to attract and further develop tourism. The major draw card is New Zealand’s natural environment. Protected areas and other conservation lands and waters provide innumerable tourism opportunities. A very high percentage of our international tourists visit at least one Department of Conservation managed site during their stay. But what are we doing to support and give credence to the notion of 100% pure?
