Paper description
This paper aims to familiarise students with a range of planning methods commonly required for planning and environmental appraisal, the skill to judge when and why a particular method is required, and the in-depth knowledge to apply two or more methods.
Objectives
- Develop analytical and technical skills related to planning issues;
- Learn to evaluate and formulate plans, objectives, policies and methods;
- Develop the ability to write effective policy and rule implementation measures;
Students who complete this paper will be expected to understand the links between environmental problems and policy solutions that are practical and effective.
