Aim/Objectives
The fiction, poetry and drama chosen for this paper will help the students develop a sense of the American literature as different from our own. They will study the poems, plays, stories and novels of some of the best known American writers but will also consider voices of dissidence from African American, Women, Native American and other writers who may not be so familiar.
