Aim/Objectives
In this paper students will explore conceptual and practical perspectives on the key skills in second-language reading and writing; examine a range of linguistic and non-linguistic factors influencing second-language reading and writing; and reflect on approaches to evaluating second-language reading and writing materials. By the end of the paper, students should have a basic understanding of the processes and practical issues associated with the teaching and evaluating of second language reading and writing skills.
