Working Papers in Applied Linguistics
Each year, we publish a volume of Working Papers in Applied Linguistics each containing a collection of articles written by students in two of our programmes: the Postgraduate Diploma in Second language Teaching (PGDipSLT) and the MA (Applied) in Applied Linguistics, as well as usually a contribution from students in our Undergraduate paper Introduction to Applied Linguistics and An Introduction to Skills-Based Second Language Teaching and Learning.
Over the years, students have developed ideas in different areas within Applied Linguistics, and the collection of volumes contain a wide variety of topics that encompass the themes taught across our papers. Each volume can only contain a fraction of the excellent work which our students produce each year, but they do provide samples of the different themes, current thinking and perspectives in the teaching and learning of languages.
Displayed on this page are lists of contents for each volume, which enable you to not only see the diversity of research that interests our students, but also gives you some understanding of the range of subject areas offered across our programmes.
