Accelerando Junior Music Academy

Accelerando
is an exciting initiative offering talented and motivated students from the greater Waikato area access to University tutors and facilities through extension teaching and performance opportunities.  Now entering its fourth year, the programme has attracted students from Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Taupo and Tauranga. This exciting mix of top young musicians, under the supervision of inspiring teachers, creates both an exhilarating learning environment and a hotbed of musical activity.  Accelerando aims to facilitate the speed at which the students reach their potential, hence the name Accelerando.
