Five of the Best. Few Piano Quintets are more cherished than those of Schumann and Dvorák. On Friday 20th April, five of the country's leading musicians bring these two works to Hamilton, as part of the University's popular Friday 6pm Series.
- Three Music Department students have been accepted into ranks of the NBR New Zealand Opera Company for its 2007 season. The trio of sopranos — Julia Hill, Angela Bjerga and Evelyne Waters — will, as members of the Chapman Tripp Opera Chorus, be taking part in the company’s Auckland seasons of Lucia di Lammermoor and Turandot, as well as singing in the performance of Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony on March 9, which opens the AK07 Festival.
- 'Piercing the Vault' tours a second time.
