Performance Stream

BMus Performance

larahallThe Performance programme offers a multi-faceted degree in a congenial environment that fosters growth and is committed to the development of individual students. The strength of this course is in both its specialisation and its diversity. Our students specialise in their chosen instrument, but partake in a diverse range of practical, hands-on music making. The teaching emphasis is on artistic and technical development growing in tandem. Orchestras, choirs, music groups, competitions, masterclasses, public lectures and workshops are also an intergral part of the performance degree.

Performance tuition will be offered in voice, piano, violin, cello, flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, oboe, harpsichord, organ, and classical guitar in 2010.

The core undergraduate performance papers are:

MUSI118/218/318 Performance Techniques 1, 2 and 3
MUSI120/220/320 Performance 1, 2 and 3
