COMPSYCHWAIKATO is a Community Psychology discussion list hosted by the Department of Psychology. It frequently carries information about the graduate programme in Community Psychology and about Community Psychology in general. It is intended to be used to:
- have discussions relevant to community psychology
- ask for help (eg; Does anyone have a good reference on...?)
- advertise events you think others might be interested in
- pass on information about research opportunities
- recruit people to help on your research project
- spread the word about job openings
- celebrate community psychology events
- or do whatever else is in the spirit of the list
The list will be of interest not only to graduate students but anyone interested in community psychology including practitioners and prospective students.

Once you are on, you will be able to send a message to everyone on the list by addressing it to compsychwaikato@list.waikato.ac.nz
This is an un-moderated list. That is, whatever you send to the list automatically goes to everyone on it. However, the list owner (Joy Fellows) will remove from the list anyone who uses it to send abusive or offensive material.
