An evaluation of cognitive functioning in individuals on methadone maintenance treatment and its relation to treatment adherence
Research suggests that alcohol and drug users often have impairments in their memory, attention, problem solving and other cognitive functions. This research assesses the link between these cognitive functions and attendance at appointments in a sample of individuals receiving alcohol and drug services in Hamilton New Zealand.
