The School of Psychology Graduate Handbook is intended to supplement the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Graduate Handbook. It provides a description of the graduate psychology papers taught at the University of Waikato, and suggests programmes of study designed to equip you to graduate with the skills necessary to specialise in research and applied areas. It contains specific information on:

  • Contacting the School
  • Graduate qualifications in psychology, including the Master of Applied Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology
  • Admission and enrolment in graduate programmes
  • Programmes that support registration as a psychologist in New Zealand
  • Academic staff profiles, including their research interests
