Counselling, Social Welfare, Cultural Policy and Heritage, Departments of Justice, Foreign Affairs, Welfare, Waitangi Tribunal Investigations, Iwi Development, Human Rights Commission, Social Policy Analysis, Medical Anthropology, Community Health Programmes, Libraries, Archivist, and Journalism.

Most Anthropology graduates move into areas where they use and apply our critical approach to an area of social policy or social development, such as in government departments, SOEs, local and iwi authorities, and the private sector. Our graduates are found in community affairs, consultancy, education, local and central government, industry and commerce, information management and health management.
