Health Development & Policy - Careers

The programme aims to prepare students to take on roles in health development and management or social research in health. The programme will be relevant for potential and experienced practitioners interested in working in the following areas:

  • Health policy analysis in DHBs or in central government agencies
  • Community health/Maori health providers and social work agencies
  • Non-government organisations
  • Health research institutions
  • Public health education

It will also be attractive to those with an interest in health research, medicine, nursing, health promotion, dentistry, pharmacy, health planning and community work.
