Social Work

Undergraduate Study

Staff

Social Work is a valuable and necessary profession in our society, particularly as society grows ever more complex.  Social Workers enable people to function within society with as much ease as possible.  They work to promote self-determination and autonomy and to help people develop to the very best of their intellectual, physical, and emotional potential in society.

Social Work is taught in conjunction with the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic.

The Social Work programme is only available at the University of Waikato at Tauranga.

Social Work papers (SOCW) are only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).
