The question is often asked: what can one do with a degree in Sociology? Our graduates have a good record of finding employment in a wide variety of occupations, both conventional and innovative. Most move into areas where they can use and apply our critical approach to some area of social policy or social development, such as in government departments, SOEs, local and iwi authorities, and the private sector.
