Assignments
Collection:
Please provide us with a copy of your paper outline with your assignment due dates. These may be emailed to us. Please advise us of any changes to due dates as soon as they are made.
All deadlines are 4.30pm.
Assignments are date stamped, recorded on class lists and available for collection
by the lecturer or designated tutor from 12 noon the following working day.
Distribution:
When marked assignments and tests are brought to us for distribution we will notify students that they are available on the Assignment Checkpoint database.
NB: Please do not notify students that work is available for collection until after you have brought it to F.I.C.
Please ensure that assignments are returned to us in alphabetical order
by surname. Students' grades must not be recorded on the front page. Marking
sheets or comment sheets are to be stapled (no paper clips please) to assignments.
All work for a particular assignment must be returned to us at the same time,
except late student submissions. If different tutors mark a class assignment,
please ensure the assignments for the whole class are collated before return.
Paper Outlines and Handouts
We require a paper outline for each paper which may be supplied by either the lecturer or departmental administrator. The F.I.C. maintains a master file of paper outlines and other handouts.
Bulk distribution of material to students can be done by prior arrangement.
Lecture Notes
Lecture notes and other relevant paper information may be made available for
photocopying by the students. We require the lecturer to provide us with this
information and we will then date stamp it and put in the relevant folder for
the students' use.
If the present services do not provide for your requirements,
