Te Aka Matua Library

These books are available for any tauira of FASS to use under the supervision of the kaiāwhina anytime throughout the year. While we want you to feel comfortable and at ease in Te Ruma, there are a couple of ground rules that we must stipulate.

  • These books and course readings can be used by any tauira of Te Kura Kete Aronui, but they must not be taken out of JK.2.02.

  • If an appointment has been made to visit the kaiāwhina, students using the books must leave at least 5 minutes before the appointment starts.

  • While tauira are encouraged to visit JK.2.02 and feel at home here, it is not a social lounge to hang out in. It is to be treated as a whanau space where students can talk about course related topics.

  • The door to JK.2.02 must remain open at all times.
