My research and teaching converge on three themes:

• inclusion of people outside social norms for age, culture, gender/sexuality and disability;

• collaborative, reflexive research with professionals aimed at transforming practice; 

• qualitative research informed by social justice perspectives; and

• finding ways to bring insights of feminist, post-structural philosophers to better inform educational research.
