Human Development and Counselling
Network Leader: Lise Bird Claiborne

The Human Development and Counselling research network includes multiple disciplinary approaches to research on patterns of experience and change in people's lives.
Network member research is informed by critical, social constructionist and/or post-structuralist feminist perspectives.
Researchers are especially interested in topics and practices that are consistent with commitment to social justice and ethical research with people in the diversity of their cultures and ethnicities, abilities and disabilities, genders and sexualities.
The network is concerned with the impact research generally has on social, health and education policy and practice, and ultimately on people's everyday lives.
