Baby with the Bathwater - by Christopher Durang

"Bringing up a child is a delicate thing.” Ordinary couple John and Helen have decided to raise theirs without finding out what sex it is. Hilarity ensues as a cast of equally eccentric characters swoop in and out of their lives, including a Mary Poppins-esque Nanny, a mother who misplaces her own baby, and a school principal without principles. In Christopher Durang’s Baby with the Bathwater, parenthood is gleefully satirised against the backdrop of the 1980s. With plenty of alcoholism and prescription drug use, it is a play that resonates as much today as it did 30 years ago. So take some Nyquil and Quaaludes and join us for a trip down memory lane!Tickets: Door sales $10 cash only. Reservations can be made through Hannah Wright [email protected]
