Editing tabs

There are six tabs at the top of the paper page: Introduction, Paper Outline, Communication, Reading List, Assessments, and Resources. Content can be moved from one to another, with the exception of the Assessments tab, which is automatically populated from the gradebook. Individual tabs can also be hidden.

Moving content between tabs

  1. Select the red Turn editing on button at the top-right of the page.

  2. Select the tab to move content from, then select the cross hair of the activity or resource to move.

  3. Finally, select the destination for the resource to be moved to - either To the top of section, which will place the item at the top of the tab, or move further down a list by placing After resource (an existing resource in that tab).

  4. In this example, the Announcements Forum has been moved from the Introduction tab and can now be found in the Communication tab.

Note: Content can be moved from tabs to topics, or between topics, by drag and drop.

Hiding a tab

  1. Select the red Turn editing on button at the top-right of the page.
  2. Select the tab to hide, then select the Edit drop-down menu to the right of the tabs.

  3. Finally, select the eye Hide tab. The tab will appear in light grey to show that is it hidden from students.

To unhide a tab, go through steps 1 to 3 (selecting a hidden tab at step 2), then at step 4 select the eye Show tab.
