Configure Eduroam for Apple OSXStaff Wireless Network - OSX Instructions
Click on the network icon in the task tray, bringing up the list of available networks, then click on eduroam
Enter your [email protected] then enter your domain password, click OK
After a short period, eduroam should have a tick next it, showing that you are connected to eduroam
Troubleshooting - Forget the Network
If you are having issues joining wireless it may be because your settings are trying to auto connect to another network which is out of range so you will need to Forget the Network. You can do this as follows:
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon on the Menu Bar (top of screen) and choose Open Networks or go to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Network
- Select Wi-Fi from the network panel sidebar
- Click Advanced (bottom right corner)
- Click the Wi-Fi tab and find the router/network to forget in the Preferred Networks list
- Select the network then choose the [-] minus button to remove (forget) the wireless network
- Confirm this by choosing Remove
- Repeat as necessary for other Wi-Fi networks to forget
- Click OK then exit out of System Preferences, choose to Apply if asked
