Configure UOW Students for iPad
Tap on the Settings button in the main screen of the device
Tap UOW Students to connect to the UOW Students wireless network:
Enter your email@example.com in the Username box, and your student password in the Password box. If you do not include the @waikato.ac.nz the wireless will fail to authenticate and you will not be logged in
After verifying that the certificate presented is tools.its.waikato.ac.nz and matches what's shown below tap the Accept button
After a short period, UOW Students should have a tick next to it, showing that you are connected to UOW Students
If you need to contact the Service Desk further technical information is available by tapping on the UOW Students link. These details will be useful for diagnosing any connection issues that you may have.
Log Your Own Ticket
The University has provided a Self Service tool through which you can log your own tickets (jobs). You can also search for a previously logged ticket to check it's status. For urgent jobs you can phone the ITS Service Desk: ext 4008 (838 4008) for support.
