FAQs

How many installations are allowed by HUP software?
Employees can download and install their Office product on one device.

How do I re-install the software that I have already purchased?
If you purchased a Backup DVD or Backup USB Flash Drive you can also use the DVD or Backup USB Flash Drive to re-install the software.

Please note that you may only re-download or buy additional products if the Software Assurance agreement is still valid and you are an active employee of the University.

What operating system is required to run Office products?
It is recommended that you Google Search the system requirements and include the version you intend to purchase in the search query to find out what your home computer needs before purchasing the software (eg: "system requirements for Microsoft Office 2019").

What additional support is available?
There are a number of support resources available online or you may contact Microsoft Customer Support.

Software Installation Issues:
If the above support resources do not resolve the issues, a 90-day no-charge
telephone support (beginning the date of your first call) is available in NZ 0800 800 004.
