Unimarket - Setup
Access to Unimarket is from the main iWaikato homepage.
Setting Organisational Units for Unimarket Access
All staff accounts are created within Unimarket on the Thursday of each week. However, access to Unimarket's systems relies on having a current Organisational Unit associated with your account. If this has not been set up, you will see the Single Sign-On error when logging in for the first time
To fix this issue, you will need to add your Organisational Units using the following instructions or via the video clip here.
Please Note: the video uses the link for Account & Finance Utilities, which is the main page for all finance tools. You can also access using the direct link shown below.
1. Close Unimarket (the above screen with the error)
2. Click on the Maintain Organisation Units link (to the right of the Unimarket portlet as shown below).
3. Once there you need to click on the arrow next to the Select Chain field.
This will bring up a box with a list of Organisation Units or Account Codes that you have access to.
4. Click on one at a time and click Add.
They will then appear under the Chain Code (as below).
Once you have added all the relevant codes you need to close Unimarket and re-open.
(above details as an example only - you will need to add department codes that you have access to).
You should now have access.
PLEASE NOTE: If you get the single sign on error and you have had access previously (ie. been through the above process earlier), it could mean your browser session has expired. Please close all your browsers then try to access Unimarket again.
Additional Error messages
If you see the below error screen when trying to access Unimarket - it will mean that you haven't been set up in the financial database yet. This gets done once a week on a Thursday morning.
