Unimarket - Setup
Access to Unimarket is from the Staff portal, this is the main landing page once you login to waikato.ac.nz.
Note: Before you can use Unimarket you will need to setup your organisation units, these are the account codes you have authorisation to purchase under.
Setting Organisational Units for Unimarket Access
All staff accounts are created within Unimarket on the Thursday of each week. However, access to Unimarket's systems relies on having a current Organisational Unit associated with your account. If this has not been set up, you will see the Single Sign-On error when logging in for the first time.
To fix this, you will need to add your Organisational Units using the following instructions;
1. Close Unimarket (the above screen with the error)
2. Select Maintain Organisation Units link (to the right of the Unimarket portlet as shown below)
3. Select Maintain Organisations Units
This will bring up a box with a list of Organisation Units or Account Codes that you have access to.
4. Select one at a time and select Add
They will then appear under the Chain Code (as below)
Once you have added all the relevant codes required close Unimarket and re-open
(above details as an example only - you will need to add department codes that you have access to).
You should now have access.
PLEASE NOTE: If you get the single sign on error and you have had access previously (i.e. been through the above process earlier), it could mean your browser session has expired. Please close all your browser windows and try to access Unimarket again.
Additional Error messages
If you see the below error screen when trying to access Unimarket - it will mean that you haven't been set up in the financial database yet. This gets done once a week on a Thursday morning.
