The University recognises that many students and staff bring their own personal devices into the University environment (whether it be laptop, tablet or smartphone) in order to interface with its network, and enjoy the benefits of being mobile. This website provides information on the technologies available and information to assist you in your use of mobile devices and show you how to stay in touch when you are required to be off campus.
You can access the internet on your wireless device from anywhere on campus. Staff connect to Eduroam and students to UOW Students or UOW Halls. Guests can now also get access through Waikato.Staff Student
If you want to print a file or document and are not connected to the University wired network, you can do this via wireless printing. Numerous printers on campus are enabled to allow this and you can choose the one nearest your current location.View More Details

The University has provided a Self Service tool through which you can log your own support tickets (jobs). You can also search for a previously logged ticket to check its status. For urgent jobs you can phone the ITS Service Desk: ext 4008 (838 4008) for support.
