Mobile Phone Security

Mobile phones these days are powerful devices, and are no longer simply used for sending text messages or making and receiving calls. They have all manner of functionality such as cameras, wireless hotspots, Bluetooth and the ability to act as a USB device for transferring files and data.

Mobile phone Operating Systems have not been developed with security in mind. With feature sets and technologies constantly being added, it is a fair assumption that hackers and malware authors look for exploits and weaknesses in phone security to access and steal data.
