Library Tours

Library tours are a great way to get to know your Library from day one and are held at the start of Trimester A and B.

The Library is a complex organisation with a lot to offer students, researchers and staff through its services, facilities and staff expertise. Participating in a tour of the Library and Student Centre will give you a better idea of support available that can greatly benefit your study and research during your time at the University of Waikato.

Tours are approximately 30 minutes long.

Requesting a Library Tour

Tours can be arranged for groups, including High School students, at any point during the year. Email [email protected] or fill out the Request a Library Tour form. Remember to leave your contact details so we can get back to you with a tour date and time.

Online Tours and Videos

We have a Virtual Tour of the Library available all year round.

The university has created a video that focuses on the library spaces, services and facilities. This is aimed at helping students familiarise themselves with the complexities and benefits of using the Library.
