A collection of regularly updated evidence-based healthcare databases bringing together research looking at the effectiveness of different health care treatments and interventions.
eTV

eTV has over 20,000 TV and Library recordings and is growing daily. University of Waikato staff can request any show broadcast within the last 14 days to be archived and added to the eTV library. Teaching staff can embed recordings in Learning Management Systems such as Moodle.

Dedicated to content from and about Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, this database covers agriculture, arts, Asian studies, business, cultural studies, education, history, indigenous studies, law, media, political science, reference, social sciences, science and technology.
Kanopy offers a broad collection of streaming videos from producers such as BBC Active, Media Education Foundation, Ronin Films, and more. Films include theatrical releases, documentaries, training films, and art cinema. Users can create their own accounts to comment on videos, manage playlists, create clips and review viewing history. Some titles visible in Kanopy are not part of our current collection. If you need a film for research or teaching purposes that is not immediately available, please complete the request form.

Learning Ground spans early childhood, post-school education, adult learning, and encompasses areas such as cultural diversity, parent and community engagement, wellbeing, identity and oral language. With over 8,900 searchable books, articles, conference papers and reports on Indigenous education from publishers in Australia and overseas, Learning Ground is an ideal first stop for policy makers, educators and graduate students. Produced by the Cunningham Library, with additional material to be sourced from a variety of international organisations and publishers.

Journals

The journal publishes peer-reviewed authoritative papers on health promotion and health education and incudes book reviews and health event listings. Published 6 times a year.
