Broadcasting Standards Authority
Jurisdiction | An independent statutory body responsible for overseeing the maintenance of acceptable standards on radio and television. Among other activities it sets out the Codes and Standards deals with formal complaints about broadcasting standards, and allocates funds to eligible political parties advertising prior to elections. It does not generally deal with matters relating to advertising standards other than in regard to political party advertising. |
