Jurisdiction	The Coronial Services of NZ investigates circumstances and causes of death, and makes recommendations based on these findings.
Governing legislation	Coroners Act 2006
Contact details	Contact information and details on how to report a death request information, etc. are available on the Ministry of Justice website.
Availability	NZLII has coronial cases from 2007 onward. You can also read 3 monthly summaries on the Coroners Court website. Requests for information from Coroners files prior to 30 June 2007 need to be made in writing to the National Manager at the above address.
