New Academic Staff Introduction

The aim of this session is to set the tone for academic life at UoW, including the inextricable balance of research and teaching, and to create awareness of the resources and support that is available to academic staff to assist them in succeeding in their role.

The session will consist of a short overview on each of the topics with further direction provided towards additional resources (e.g. further training programmes, web page links, contact persons etc.).

Hear from the DVC Teaching and DVC Research about their vision and strategic direction as well as presenters from:

• CeTTL
• Work Integrated Learning
• Academic Office
• School of Graduate Research
• Research and Enterprise

And culturally responsive teaching and research from the DVC Maori and AVC Pacific.

This Programme is specifically for our New Academic staff and you should receive an invitation if you recently joined UoW in an academic role. However, if you have not received an invite please send an email to [email protected].
