Some Key University Services for Staff
Teaching and Learning Development
The Centre for Tertiary Teaching and Learning (CeTTL, pronounced “settle”) helps staff develop their papers, extend their knowledge of teaching practice, and better understand different pedagogical approaches. CeTTL delivers the Postgraduate Certificate of Tertiary Teaching and Learning, and it provides learning development for students through a range of services and resources.
The Research and Enterprise Office includes Division-based research advisors who assist academic staff to seek funding, find collaboration partners, and target their research endeavours. The Library can assist staff to improve their citation count and ensure their published research reaches appropriate audiences.
Research Postgraduate Supervision
The School of Graduate Research (SGR) assists staff with Research Postgraduate Supervision responsibilities including administration, training, networking, and other support.
The University has trained a significant number of staff to be able to provide emergency first aider support. A list of first aiders may be found in the internal staff phonebook.
