About this opportunity
This fully funded 3-year PhD project will develop novel methods for high-resolution 3D geological modelling of sedimentary basins to improve earthquake ground motion prediction in Aotearoa New Zealand. We seek a student with a research Masters degree, ideally in geology, geophysics, geological engineering, or a related field, with interests in basin analysis, subsurface modelling, and seismic hazard.
