About Abhishek
The focus of my PhD research was to investigate the influence of corporate social responsibility expenditure on firms' market valuation, financial performance and senior managers' attitude toward such expenses.
Before starting my PhD, I completed an MBA from India and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from New Zealand.
I have worked in the commercial insurance industry in India in the area of corporate business development. I also worked as a researcher at the New Zealand Institute for Business Research (NZIBR). I have several years of teaching experience in New Zealand and China. My research interest focuses on the corporate finance area.
