About Loïc

Loïc is a Professional Teaching Fellow in Computer Science for the Bachelor of Science in Interface Design at The University of Waikato Joint Institute at Zhejiang University City College (NZUWI).

Prior to this, he worked at Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai) in the Sino-German cooperation program with Brand University (Hamburg), and also as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Creative Industries at the University of Saint Joseph (Macau) from 2011 to 2018. He has participated in few seminars and workshops as a guest speaker and Honorary Professor in some events for other institutions including the University of Macau.

Loïc has over 20 years’ experience in the multi-disciplinary design industry and R&D for some of the world’s leading companies and consumer brands – REXAM, NESTLÉ, Groupe BRANDT, SOFITEL, SHUN TAK... He is also a Board Director of the France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) since 2014.

Some of his works include the NaturNes baby food packaging (Europe), the relaunch of the “5 Minuten Terrine” (Germany – France and China under local brands), the “wavy” Kit Kat (Temptations – Australia and Eastern Europe), the “Moment Mahl” packaging innovation (Germany and Russia), etc… where several product and system IP have been granted.

Loïc holds a University Degree in Mechanical & Engineering (Orléans, France – DUT), a MS Degree from France in Product Design (KEDGE Design School, Toulon, France – DES-CD – Concepteur Designer), and a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Industrial Design from England (University of Salford, Greater Manchester, UK).

He is originally from Europe, and more precisely from Brittany in France. Prior to be at NZUWI (Hangzhou, China), he lived and worked in England, in Germany, and in Macau (China) for local and worldwide markets.
