About Mark
Mark is Associate Professor in the English Programme, Te Kura Toi (School of Arts), where he teaches Shakespeare and his Contemporaries, and Literary Theory. His latest book is New Directions in Early Modern English Drama: Edges, Spaces, Intersections (co-ed. with Aidan Norrie; DeGruyter/MIP, 2020). He has book chapters forthcoming on “Shakespeare, Tourism, and the Pop-Up Globe”, and 19th Century New Zealand theatre. He is editing the Caroline playwright James Shirley's Hyde Park for the new Oxford Complete Works of James Shirley ; and he is in the early phases of a book on iconic New Zealand theatre scripts , tentatively called The New Zealand Play Book
