My current research is in water, waste-water, solid waste and odour control and treatment, environmental engineering, biodegradable plastics, and emerging contaminants.
I also supervise the University of Waikato School of Engineering Formula SAE team which designs and builds a Formula style race car for the Australasian FSAE competition in Melbourne/Winton Raceway each year.
I have also researched in bioprocess engineering and chromatography (continuous radial flow chromatography, and science education.
