Research Interests
Mohana has an interest in water footprint analysis in different industries. She has a masters in Environmental Economics.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Population Economics. Her PhD is a part of the CaDDANZ (Capturing the Diversity Dividend of Aotearoa/New Zealand) research programme, funded by the the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. She works on spatial sorting and ethnic identity in Auckland, New Zealand. Her work also includes microsimulation modelling for future ethnic diversity projections at the local levels across the Auckland city.
Mohana is currently working as a Research Officer in the Waikato Medical Research Centre for the HRC funded project exploring the costs of breast cancer in New Zealand.
