About Peter

Peter is a senior lecturer in finance at Waikato Management School (WMS). He received his PhD from the University of New South Wales. He has taught many finance and econometrics courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate (including PhD) levels since 2009. He has served in AACSB evaluation and has been the cross-country and cross-campus convenor (lecturer in charge) of multiple papers (courses) at WMS.

Peter’s research expertise includes but is not limited to mergers and acquisitions, corporate innovation, corporate governance, culture, and capital markets. He has published in leading international peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Accounting and Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Australian Journal of Management and International Journal of Managerial Finance. He has also been actively serving as a reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals, master dissertations and PhD theses.
