About Tim

Tim started tutoring at Waikato in 1989 after completing his Bachelors of Science, and has tutored here ever since, except for a brief sojourn at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in 1993/1994. His main focus is tutoring first year programming (COMP103 and COMP104), and being the tutor coordinator for some papers such as COMP104, COMP126 and COMP223.

Tim has studied part-time while working at Waikato, finishing a Graduate Diploma and a Masters in Computer Science and recently graduating with a Bachelors of Media and Creative Technologies, majoring in Screen and Media.
