Māori Accommodation

“Nga-Tokorua-a-Taingahue” is a kaupapa Māori floor in Bryant Hall that was established in 1990 and was the first kaupapa Māori floor in New Zealand.  It is a space for people who wish to live in an environment that fosters manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, te reo Māori and tikanga Māori.  These elements provide a positive environment for academic development and cultural safety.

For further information on applying to live at the halls of residence and other accommodation information check out the Accommodation and Conference Services.
