Website Templates
The Webteam developed and supported web templates are HTML5 templates that use media queries to achieve a responsive design with layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop breakpoints.

Templating your site
A number of designs exist that can be used to template a site hosted on the central webservers including:
1. Central University template
As used on the Central University site, Faculty, Divisional and Department websites. The current template includes options for pages to have one, two or three columns.
2. University Subsite template
Subsite templates are based off the Central University web template and may include customised elements. Contact [email protected] to discuss.
3. Research Institute template
Reserved for Research Institute sites e.g. Institute for Security and Crime Science
5. University Portal template
Used for portal sites e.g. MyWaikato and staff & student landing pages.
