Planning Data Set
A set of Planning Data documents has been prepared by the Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Executive) to provide managers and others with a reliable and consistent set of management information relevant to their activities and responsibilities and to inform planning at all levels of the University.
The data sets are reviewed and updated as necessary, and a summary of the cumulative changes provided. This information underpins and informs a suite of plans being prepared by the University in support of the University Strategy.
The data sets include data relating to students and student profiles, staff and staff profiles, teaching, learning and research activities, and revenue. They also include historical data where available and relevant, so that patterns and trends can be identified and analysed. Data for future years will be incorporated as the relevant decisions are made.
Staff using the data are encouraged to take careful note of the definitions that are provided, in order to ensure that they interpret the data correctly.

Staff are invited to comment on the usefulness of the data, in terms of both content and presentation. Suggestions about additional data that might be usefully included are also welcome.
