Georgia Pollock : Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Georgia Pollock

Georgia is currently completing her final paper of a BA, double majoring in Theatre Studies and English. Georgia has been performing for as long as she can remember, starting in school nativity performances at age 5. She has a keen interest in singing, and for that reason focuses mostly on Musical Theatre. Throughout her years at Sacred Heart she was in many music and drama groups, including being the bass section leader in her barbershop chorus, the bass in the 2014 regional champion quartet The Bluebelles, the lead soprano in choir, and the leader of the Shakespeare and Theatre Sports clubs. Upon starting high school, Georgia became a member of Musikmakers, with whom she has since performed in many shows, starting out as a munchkin in Wizard of Oz and going right through to playing Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre in Spelling Bee. Through her involvement in Riverlea theatre, she also became a founding member of the all female theatre company, Mrs Worthington's Daughters. She has performed in several other theatre around the Waikato, including The Meteor, and Cambridge Gaslight. Upon the completion of her degree, Georgia hopes to complete a Master's degree in Theatre, and go back to her birth town of London to pursue a career in Theatre.
