Zac Millar : Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Zac Millar


Kapiti’s Zac Millar wants to win Medals in the Commonwealth Games, and represent his country on a Senior level.. So far in his 15 years with squash he’s won six national age group titles and competed at the World Junior Champs in Qatar in 2012. He’s ranked 10th in New Zealand in the senior men’s rankings, and in his last year as a junior player he was ranked 1st. To keep competitive at a high level, Zac trains twice a day as well as completing recovery work. He has his sights set on the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Zac is currently in his 4th year of his BMS degree, double majoring in Human Resource Management and Strategic Management, while trying to complete his study with a 1st class honors. For 4 years now, Zac also coaches a number of the up and coming junior players in the Waikato region. In between squash, squash coaching and uni commitments, Zac helps with a coaching role with the U85 Varsity rugby team, which he has played for in the past.


NZ Junior Open - 28/04/2013
I won the NZ Junior Open, which was held in North Shore. Last year I came 2nd at this tournament so was very happy with the result as it is the biggest Junior Event of the year.

I placed 1st in the open draw.

I placed 6th. Tournament was a PSA, so international points were on offer. Top names from around country were playing.
Palmerston North International - 13/06/2014
I made it through to the finals of Qualifying rounds. This tournament was an international PSA event, which brought over a number of international players.
